Nassau climate - any danger?

For Nassau climate there is always a danger of a hurricane bearing down on the Island. The hurricane tracks are far of Nassau but winds can take them anywhere.

Nassau enjoys a subtropical climate with mild winters, seldom dipping below 60F. Average temperatures range in the low to upper 80s; with water temperature never below 72. With that said, however, just like Florida, these are averages and during winter months be prepared for an occasional cold front to cause drastic temperature drops. The Bahamas' sub-tropical and tropical climate makes the islands a pleasant destination year-round. The Gulf Stream and Trade Winds help to maintain even temperatures throughout the year, ranging from 20 to 30 degrees celsius during the day and 17 to 21 degrees C at night. Sea temperatures range between 23 degrees C in February and 28 degrees C in August.
